Adult Education Mini-Course: “Moral Leadership” led by Rabbi Ron Segal Wednesdays - 7:30 pm - 8:45 pm November 5, 12, 19 November 5 - "Reform Rabbis - Voices for Justice" - A retrospective of our history and how Reform Rabbis have had a strong history of courageous and outspoke leadership on the moral issues of their day such as slavery, civil rights, and the rights of women. November 12 - "What Constitutes a Moral Issue?" - The group will discuss speaking out on matters of conscience and examine such issues as immigration, gay rights, choice, and more through case studies. November 19 - "Following the Voices of Our Tradition" - The group will discuss some of today's most pressing moral issues such as the death penalty, the environment, gun control, and more; and the role of religion and Judaism in shaping opinion and direction of today and the future.
