Policy on Fairness and Respect
Temple Sinai strives for a caring environment where learning takes place. We want our students to respect others by showing tolerance, performing acts of loving kindness, and being inclusive in all activities. The Board of Education has established a "No Bullying" policy in order to ensure a safe environment for our teachers and students. Teachers, temple employees, volunteers, and students will demonstrate appropriate behavior by treating others with civility and respect and by refusing to tolerate harassment or intimidation. Examples of behaviors that will not be tolerated include the following:

It is important that we work together to teach our children these important values. Torah teaches us that the sin of putting another person to shame in public is one of the gravest transgressions. By working together we can continue to foster a positive environment at Temple Sinai. The essence of Judaism lies not in what we believe but how we act. Let our actions speak for our children and their actions speak for all of us.
