There are people in our greater Atlanta community who go to bed hungry every night – children, the elderly, the homeless, the working poor – those living on society’s margins. (One in every 13 Georgia families is living in poverty!) Yet all around Atlanta, scores of businesses, such as restaurants and supermarkets, throw away food every day – food that could be used to feed those in need.

Second Helpings provides a safe, dependable collection and delivery service, rescuing this would-be wasted food and getting it to those who need it most.
