As the evolving health situation now dictates further physical distancing with stricter limitations on gatherings recommended, please note the following important changes to ritual experiences that impact the Temple Sinai community:

All Shabbat Services (Friday night, Tot Shabbat, Shabbat morning) will be closed to the public and guests. We will livestream these worship opportunities on our website here.

  • B’nei Mitzvah services will be closed to friends and other guests. Each service will be livestreamed on the Sinai website here.
  • The Wednesday morning minyan is being suspended until further notice.
  • Effective immediately, Temple Sinai will suspend Shiva minyanim. As these services foster opportunities for the community to become physically proximate, a behavior that is, at present, no longer morally responsible, gatherings for shiva are being discontinued. Those wishing to offer support and condolences to mourners are encouraged to do so digitally.

Please remember that Temple Sinai is closed until further notice, but you can reach out to any staff as needed.  Click here for a staff directory and note that email is best during this time.

We are working on virtual learning and experiences for members to connect with each other over the coming weeks.  More information will be coming soon.

We pray that these measures are short-term and that we will return to behaviors where we can once again support each other with our physical presence.  In the meantime, and as always, know that your Temple Sinai clergy is ready, willing, and able to offer individual support and encouragement.
