Adam Mayer, Rabbi Ron Segal and Jack Feldman

The Temple Sinai Covid Task Force, in accordance with current CDC guidelines and in consultation with our medical advisory team, has made the following policy and procedure changes to help ensure the safety of our extended congregational community, effective immediately:

1. Anyone over the age of two years old, regardless of vaccination status, is required to wear a mask inside the Temple Sinai facilities, including during programs and services, and throughout the approaching High Holy Days. Virtual options remain available for all services and many of our programs. Any events held outdoors will remain mask optional.

2. Food service at Temple Sinai hosted indoor events, including Shabbat evening and morning, will be discontinued at this time. Unfortunately, our Erev Rosh Hashanah dinner has also been canceled. Dinner registrants will be contacted regarding a refund.

3. Private lifecycle events may offer food at their discretion and our team will be in touch with our upcoming B’nei Mitzvah families.

4. Our High Holy Day schedule remains unchanged.

5. Additional protocols for our education programs (Preschool, Noar and HUB) will be sent in the coming weeks.

We continue to closely monitor Covid-19 trends. Should further modifications to our health and safety protocols become necessary, we will communicate those changes in a timely manner.

Thank you for your cooperation, patience, and understanding.

Wishing all in our congregational family the blessings of good health and strength.

Adam Mayer, President
Ron Segal, Rabbi
Jack Feldman, Executive Director
