Temple Sinai is excited to participate in the Atlanta Shinshinim Program!

Shinshinim are Israeli 18 and 19 year olds participating in a “gap year.” They’ve graduated from high school and before they go into the Israeli military they spend one year teaching in American communities.

Meet Tal: Tal spends time with Temple Sinai youth and teens at Noar Sunday and other programs. In getting to know and have fun with Tal, youth and teens build a more personal connection with Israel. Tal is the youngest of 3 siblings and is from Moshav Haniel. Moshavs are small semi-private communities. She focused on Jewish studies during high school, which has given her the incredible opportunity to expand her thinking with multiple points of view. She was an active participant in her Moshav's youth group and became a leader with a focus on 6th grade. She enjoys physical competition, especially tennis. When she is taking a break from physical activities she enjoys drawing and playing the ukulele. I hope you’ll say “Shalom” next time you see Tal around Temple Sinai!
