Bernstein and Bahr's Best Bets

Join us for a fascinating sneak-peek into the upcoming Atlanta Jewish Film Festival with film critic Bob Bahr and Emory University media professor Matthew Bernstein. They will present their top choices for the Atlanta Jewish Film Festival, less than a week after the festival announces its full line up and before tickets go on sale. They will provide a critical evaluation of their selections and show a number of film clips during their virtual Best Bets program.

The 2021 AJFF runs on-line from February 17 through February 28, and this is the first of a two-part series getting Temple Sinai ready and excited for the event.

Bob Bahr is with the Center for Media and The Moving Image and frequently presents his educational seminars on film at Temple Sinai. Dr. Matthew H. Bernstein is Goodrich C. White Professor of Film and Media at Emory University and is chair of the department.

Jason Evans Picks the Best AJFF Films for Young Adults, Parents, and Couples on Date Night

In the second of our two-part series, join the Temple Sinai Brotherhood for a highly engaging and enjoyable sneak-peak at some of this year's more memorable and off-beat movie picks for the quickly-approaching Atlanta Jewish Film Festival. Have you heard of the awesome horror movie in this year's film festival? What about some gripping comedies and dramas that you will not soon forget? This will not be your standard film review as our very own Jason Evans chooses and previews his own picks geared more toward an edgier crowd.

Jason is a highly regarded movie critic who routinely provides his reviews on local radio, tv and print and is the Co-Chair of the AJFF selection committee. The 2021 AJFF runs online from February 17 through February 28.
