Derech Eretz – A Focused Exploration of Common Decency in Jewish Tradition
This adult ed series will continue to explore a topic first addressed in this year’s Yom Kippur sermon, the critical
value of Derech Eretz (common decency, the way to be in the world). In each of our three sessions, we will
explore ways in which derech eretz has shaped our understanding of history as well as the ways in which Derech
Eretz might apply in our own lives.
February 27: Derech Eretz and Biblical Leadership
March 6: Derech Eretz in Public and Private
