Celebrated non-fiction sports author Jeff Pearlman returns to discuss The Bad Guys Won!, his acclaimed study of the 1986 World Champion New York Mets. Via Zoom, Jeff will share with us more on the story’s fabled characters (Dwight Gooden, Darryl Strawberry, Keith Hernandez, Gary Carter), the unforgettable finish to Game Six, as well his favorite interviews and the process of recreating this iconic season. Recently, Jeff appeared in the highly-successful ESPN “30 for 30” documentary Once Upon a Time in Queens, about the ’86 Mets.
