7:00 pm - Dialogue with Marty Baron

Join us for a conversation with Marty Baron, editor of the Washington Post and former editor of The Boston Globe (2001-2012). Baron, profiled in the movie Spotlight (he was played by actor Liev Schreiber) for his  work to quickly mobilize Globe reporters investigating systemic child sex abuse charges in the Catholic Church, will speak to the changing world of journalism, and the changing courses of traditional print and digital media.
He will help us understand the truth and fiction from The Post, the Steven Spielberg movie, as well as the challenges to traditional journalism as we navigate 2018.
We will host a screening of Spotlight, the Oscar-winning film focusing on his story, before the event at 4:00 pm.
There is no charge, open to the community.
