NCJW Jewelry Drive

Sunday, February 16, 2020 21 Sh'vat 5780

All Day for 42 Days

Each year the National Council of Jewish Women Atlanta (NCJW) collects donated costume jewelry to “stock” their Mother’s Day Jewelry pop-up stores held in local Title 1 elementary schools. These schools have over 75% of children receiving free or reduced price breakfast and lunch.

Last year, over 4000 children had the opportunity to choose a special gift for their mother or caregiver for Mother’s Day. Donations may include earrings,  bracelets, necklaces, rings, watches, pins and brooches.

Temple Sinai will have collection bins in the lobby for your donations. Spread the word and make a difference – we all know someone who can donate an item and make a difference for the little ones in our community!

We will also be hosting a day on Sunday, March 29 to repair, organize, polish and bag the jewelry. Please join us in the conference room to help! https://www.templesinaiatlanta.org/event/polishing-for-atlanta-jewish-coalition-for-literacy.html
