Selichot Dessert Reception and Service

Saturday, September 16, 2017 25 Elul 5777

7:30 PM - 10:00 PMSanctuary

The High Holy Day season truly begins with the evening of Selichot. As we prepare to begin the New Year, Selichot provides a reflective and spiritual setting in which to contemplate the ways we elected to live the year that is ending, as well as to cultivate new ideas about life and possibilities for the year ahead. During our moving Selichot observance at Temple Sinai, we will come together for a meaningful and relevant experience, after which we gather in the sanctuary, dimly lit with votive candles, for a brief service featuring some of the High Holy Day melodies as well as the ceremonial changing of our Torah covers to the traditionally all-white mantles used during the Days of Awe.

Please register by September 13th.
