The 5 Hardest Questions: An Evening with Emory Professor Gregory Ellison

7:30pm         Appetizers, Dessert and Wine Reception

8:15pm          Guest Speaker - Professor Gregory Ellison

9:00pm          Selichot Service

The High Holy Day season truly begins with the evening of Selichot. As we prepare to begin the New Year, Selichot provides a reflective and spiritual setting in which to contemplate the ways we elected to live the year that is ending, as well as to cultivate new ideas about life and possibilities for the year ahead. During our Selichot observance at Sinai, we will gather for compelling learning with a guest speaker followed by our moving, meaningful, and brief candle lit service in the sanctuary during which we will change our Torah cover to their Holy Day white mantles.
