Rabbi Brad Levenberg

What a delight it is to write this message. This Shabbat will be truly remarkable at Sinai for we are welcoming to our congregation noted scholar and author Rabbi Dr. Ron Kronish.

Ron is the Founding Director of the Interreligious Coordinating Council in Israel (ICCI). Now retired, he is a noted rabbi, author, and speaker, blogger and consultant. He has lived in Jerusalem for the past 38 years. Educated at Brandeis University (BA), Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion (New York) and the Harvard Graduate School of Education (doctorate in philosophy and history of education), Rabbi Kronish has published articles and essays on Jewish politics, faith communities and the peace process, as well as education, culture and contemporary issues in America, and he blogs regularly for the Times of Israel and the Huffington Post. In addition, he has lectured in the United States, Europe and the Far East on topics related to Peace-building, Interreligious Dialogue, Coexistence Education, and Contemporary Israel.

A gifted individual, he will bring his brilliance and expertise to Sinai for a sermon on Friday night during service and then we will have the opportunity to learn with and from him on Shabbat morning during Torah Study (9:00 am-10:00 am).

For those interested in the unfolding dramas involving and around Israel…this is not a weekend to miss!

See you at Sinai this Shabbat!

Warmly,

Rabbi Brad Levenberg
