Join us for a Shabbat full of provocative discussion and conversions about the meaning of Jewish law in the modern world. Rabbi Shai Cherry, Ph.D., has an uncanny ability to translate traditional Judaism for those who have not had the luxury and blessing of dedicating their lives to Jewish learning. Known for his passion and humor, Cherry brings his expertise on the development of Jewish law, theology, and biblical interpretation to contemporary issues confronting the Jewish People. Click here for the full schedule of programs.

Rabbi Cherry will teach a special two-hour Torah study and learning session with an intermission in the middle. The first hour will be Women and Jewish Law: Marriage, Divorce, Abortion, and Leadership and the second hour will be Non-Orthodox Judaism in America: State of the Union.

These events are generously sponsored by the Steven Eichel Jewish Law Library Endowment Fund.

Registration is not required but appreciated so we can plan accordingly for food.
