Well, our Madrichim Leadership Program is for you!!!

What is the Madrichim Leadership Program?
The Madrichim Leadership Program, designed for creative and dedicated 7th-12th graders who are interested in gaining new skills, building relationships to younger students, and increasing your own connection to Judaism and Temple Sinai. Madrichim will work in our Noar Sunday and Hebrew programs, helping teachers, working with students, leading programs and most importantly, serving as a Jewish role model for our Noar students! 

New this year will be three different types of madrichim, each with clear responsibilities, goals and skill development:
1. Madrichim-In-Training (7th/8th Graders)
2. Madrichim (9th/10th Graders)
3. Senior Madrichim (11th/12th Graders)

Requirements:
While this program is fun and very rewarding, it is a commitment! Because our teachers and students depend on you every week, you must make this a priority. There are several requirements for being a Madrich/a, including:
-- Consistent attendance.
-- Participation in mandatory training sessions
-- Madrichim in 10th grade and also enrolling in Confirmation on Sunday mornings (9:30 am-10:45 am) will be expected to be in their assigned classrooms from 11:00 am-12:15 pm.
-- Noar Hebrew Madrichim must have good Hebrew reading skills.

Compensation:
As a sign of our appreciation for your valuable work, Madrichim in grades 7-10 will receive community service hours for their time. 11th and 12th graders may choose to either receive community service hours or get compensated.

When is the application deadline and when will I know if I am accepted?
The deadline to apply is Monday, June 1. After all the applications are received, they will be reviewed, and we will reach out to set up an virtual interview with you. Upon receiving your application and completing your interview, an acceptance letter will be sent out officially welcoming you to the program! At that time, you will also receive more information about the mandatory Madrichim training sessions as well as a contract. Applications received after June 1 will be reviewed on a rolling basis and acceptances may be limited.
