Dear {{first_name}},
Chag Pesach Sameach! We hope that you are having a happy holiday. We can't wait to be back together for Noar this Sunday, April 24th!
It's going to be a busy day! Students in Chaverim (Grades 2-3), Orim (Grades 4-5), and Zehut (Grade 6) will be learning about and celebrating Israel. We will be exploring Israel's geogrphay through bodies of water, cityscapes, kibbutz, and agriculture. We will also engage in Hebrew through Movement with Or and "A Day in the Life of an Israeli" with our Shinshin, Shahaf!
Shoreshim (K-1) will also be having a very special day celebrating their consecration, or next step in their Jewish journey, together with families. If you're a K-1 family and have not yet registered, make sure to RSVP here TODAY.
Our final session for the year will be May 1st, where all students K-6 will be participating in the Noar Maccabi Games! We'll be sending more information soon, but please plan to send your children in the following colors on that day:
Noar Jr. (Pre-K) Green Shoreshim (K-1) Green Chaverim (2-3) Blue Orim (4-5) Yellow Zehut (6) Red
We have a few announcements this week:
Noar Sunday Hebrew: Our last session will be May 1st. There will not be a session on May 15th.
Teacher Appreciation: The Youth & Family Committee is collecting donations from families and pooling funds to purchase gift cards for ALL Noar Sunday, Noar Hebrew teachers, specialists, and senior madrichim. This is an easy way to thank the faculty for all of the time and dedication they have devoted to our children throughout the year. You can learn more and donate here.
Lost and Found: There are just two Noar Sunday sessions left this year (4/24, 5/1) and our Lost and Found is still very full. We will be going through lost and found items and donating anything left at the end of the year. Any labeled items will be sent home with students during the remaining Noar sessions and any unlabeled items will be displayed on a rack outside the Noar office. If you're missing anything, please come take a look -- we want to reunite you with your belongings!
Tzedakah Opportunity: Through April 24th, we are collecting canned food items for JF&CS. We ask that all Noar students who are able to bring canned goods (or other non-perishable food items) on this day for the drive.
See you soon!
