After the holidays, we're back in action!

Youth and Family programs had a GREAT weekend!
Saturday night, our Stargaze & Gaze program was a hit with starry art projects and a Sukkot and Havdalah ceremony where everyone was able to shake their lulav and etrog. We enjoyed an evening under the stars complete with a s'mores bonfire and delicious hot chocolate bar.
Noar Sunday was back this week with a fun-filled schedule:
Students celebrated both Sukkot and Simchat Torah in their classes, explored chugim, and joined in t'filah with Cantor Beth in the sukkah.
Shoreshim (Pre-K-1) began their Rona Balser Reading Stars program with Ms. Jamah. We read about Sukkot pumpkins and brought the story to life by sampling pumpkin seeds and bringing home their own tiny pumpkin. Students even got to check out books from the Children's Library!
Chaverim (Grades 2-3) will begin their Rona Balser Book Club 4 Kids on October 23 from 9am-9:30am. Please RSVP here.
Orim (Grades 4-5) started their new Rona Balser Book Club 4 Kids before Noar with the book Anya and the Dragon and some donuts. It's not too late to join Book club--simply email Rachel to get signed up!Next week, Orim (Grades 4-5) have Family T'filah from 9:30am-10am in the Sanctuary. Parents, please take your child to the sanctuary for this. See you on October 23 for Noar!
