Temple Sinai is proud to offer two separate Film Series that offer exciting viewings and discussions throughout the year. In addition to the long-running Sinai Film Series, we also have the monthly NAVON Film Series, the group catering to our older (and wiser!) congregants. NAVON Film Series
Topics and facilitators will vary throughout the year. As part of the celebration around Israel’s 75th birthday, NAVON will be offering A Festival of Israeli Film: a series of award-winning Israeli films, from early classics to modern gems. Each film will begin at 2:00 pm in the Kranz Learning Center and will be followed by a discussion focusing on the themes of the film. Refreshments will be served!
Sinai Film Series
The Sinai Film Series will continue to showcase thought-provoking films in our customary Sunday evening slot with a guest speaker to introduce the film and relevant themes. We are still determining the film and speaker list, but will share information as soon as it is available. Film screenings will take place in the Philip Kranz Learning Center, and will be followed by a brief discussion led by a guest presenter. Drinks, snacks, and popcorn will be served!
