The February Challenge is Reduce Single-Use Plastics. What can you do to reduce single-use plastics? Remember, every small action counts, and collectively, these efforts can contribute to a significant reduction in single-use plastics and environmental impact.After you complete one or more of the action items and learn about trees in Judaism, you are entitled to download the February Eco Challenge Certificate.

Sip 'n Learn on Antisemitism Tuesday, February 27, 7:00 pm Temple Sinai's Addressing Antisemitism Initiative is pleased to host Kevin Abel, member of the United States Holocaust Memorial Council; Dov Wilker, Regional Director of the American Jewish Committee; and Eytan Davidson, Southeast Regional Director of the Anti-Defamation League, as they discuss the current state of antisemitism and their experiences, accomplishments and frustrations given current world events. Rabbi Sam Trief will moderate.
Sinai Family Shelter Host Week Sunday, March 24-Sunday, March 31 We provide temporary housing for families experiencing homelessness through Family Promise of North Fulton/DeKalb various weeks throughout the year. Come together and directly impact the lives of others through our Sinai Family Shelter! We need your assistance with dinner, miscellaneous supplies, overnight hosting, Saturday day hosting, helping the families move in and move out, and laundry.
CAC Volunteering Share a few hours of your time to benefit the CAC. We have two opportunities each month to help. Backpack Buddies Every Other Tuesday, 10:00 am Support kids in the metro Atlanta community by helping pack backpacks with food semi-monthly at Sinai! This initiative helps school-aged children who might not have food at home stay fed over the weekends. Click here to sign up!
Queer Teen Shabbat Friday, February 23, 6:30 pm LGBTQIA+ tweens/teens (Grades 7-12) and their families are invited to celebrate love in all its forms at a special Shabbat hosted by a Temple Sinai Sandy Springs family (location to be sent upon registration). We will begin with a candle lighting and brief service led by Beth Schafer followed by dinner and schmoozing.
