As a reminder, there is no Noar Sunday this week,October 31st (but there IS Noar Sunday Hebrew). Noar Sunday will be back in session the following week, Sunday, November 7th.
We had such a great time at Noar this past week. It was such a beautiful fall morning to learn together! Our chugim (electives) have been focusing on the middah (value) of kavod (respect).
Have you seen our garden? Some of our students have been learning about the idea of kavod and how it relates to the environment (and food waste). You can check out their pickling adventure here!
Reminder: Because Rachel Moldovan is now on parental leave, you can reach out to the following Temple Sinai staff with any questions and concerns:
On the left, some students grind spices for their pickle; On the right, students model an anatomic heart
Mark your calendars and register for these youth group events you won't want to miss!
Who misses summer camp? Who has never been and wants to know what it is like? Who doesn’t like camp but likes s’mores? Who wishes camp could be in November? If you answered yes to any of these questions, you should come to the Club 23 Camp Night. There will be tons of activities for 2nd and 3rd graders to bring you into the camp state of mind! Cost is $20.
4th and 5th graders please join us for a “regressive dinner”- a night of eating and friendship. The “REGRESSIVE” dinner switches things up! We will start with dessert, then go to main course, then appetizers. There will also be fun and games in between courses. Please let us know if you have any special dietary needs. Cost is $20.
This is our first event for our Kindergarten and First Grade youth group. Meet us after Noar Sunday for a Chanukah celebration including lunch, treats, crafts, playtime on the Mercaz, and other surprises along the way! Cost is $20.
Calling all 6th graders! Join us for a day at the Temple Sinai Winter Fest Carnival. Cotton candy, face painting, games and prizes galore. So many surprises waiting for you! Cost is $20.
