Shanna Wilons

 Shoreshim (Prek-1st)

Our Pre-K and K students learned all about Rosh HaShanah and Yom Kippur.  They created Shanah Tovah Cards and participated in a Tashlich experience with disappearing paper.

In Bayit, the 1st graders learned about Gemilut Chasadim (Acts of Loving Kindness) and multiculturalism among Jewish Americans.  They also created cards for older Atlantans.

Chaverim (2nd and 3rd)

This week in Bayit we learned about Rosh Chodesh and the phases of the moon through games and art activities.  We thought about what it means to be created B'tzelem Elohim (In God's Image) and created flags that shared our ideas.  We also signed up for Chugim (electives).  If you child was not here this week, please have them fill out the interest form here.

 Orim (3rd and 4th grade)

This week in Bayit, we learned about the three ways to look at Israel- the person, the people, and the place.  We took a scavenger hunt through the Siddur, listened to passages and decided which way of looking at Israel the passage described and we played  Diaspora tag.  We also signed up for Chuggim (electives).  If you child was not here this week, please have them fill out the interest form here.

Zehut (6th grade)

This week in Bayit, we explored what it means to be a teen and thought about the responsibilities that come with being a teenager.  We also signed up for Chugim (electives).  If you child was not here this week, please have them fill out the interest form here.
