One of the things that is most striking about being back in the book of Genesis is how it centers on families-couples in particular. This week, we read one of the most well-known Torah Portions of all, the story of Noah’s Ark. This torah portion’s iconic images are hung on nursery walls, depicted on stained glass windows, and are framed in museums,  all across the world.
